As their core technology, High Q Laser use SESAMs (SEmiconductor Saturable Absorber Mirrors) for conveniently generating picosecond and femtosecond pulses. SESAMs passively generate ultrashort pulses from a diode-pumped solid state laser enabling very compact and easy-to-use picosecond and femtosecond lasers.

User replaceable diode modules. URDM.
